Setting Up Credit Cards with Trust Payments

Set up card payments using Trust Payment's.

• In Settings Cart/Payments you are able to configure your website to accept credit and debit card payments using Trust Payment's TruConnect gateway. If you have credentials already then you can skip to Section 3 below.
• I'm a New Merchant to Trust Payments
  • In Settings Cart/Payments simply Click the "Sign Up To Take Card Payments" button. You will then be asked where your shop is based. Once answered you will be directed to an Online Merchant Application Form which will ask you for more details about your business.
  • To complete the form you will need to have:
    • Your ID (Passport, Driver's License, etc..)
    • Your Bank details-where payments will end up.

NB if you have a Registered Company in the UK we can prefill a lot of the information in the form.

• • • • Simply click "Yes" when asked "Do you have a registered UK company?" and search for your company name. 

• I'm an existing Trust Payments Merchant/I have Trust Payments Credentials
  • If you are already an existing customer with Trust Payments and have a Merchant ID that allows ecommerce transactions you can just add in your credentials. You may need to speak to your Account Manager at Trust Payments to get these sent to you. Once you have your Credentials click "I have credentials I can use". 
    • This will open a form where you can enter them.

Note: you will need to select where you are based to ensure that the correct Gateway is used. When all of your details are added simply click "Save".

As with adding all new processors we strongly suggest a test payment being put through your shopfront just to ensure that it's set up correctly.
