Add all of your basic information in this section to quickly set up your store.
Step 1 – Shop Name, Legal Entity, Description
Navigate in your Shop's Admin area to Settings > General
- Add your shop/brand name in the “Shop Name”. Please be aware that we will remove spaces and punctuation in order to generate your URL if you’re not using your own domain. To ensure that your domain is unique, we might have to add a number.
- Fill in the “Legal Entity Name” box if it's needed with your Company's legal name. This will then be shown on invoices, customers emails or order receipts.
Step 2 – Company Address
Navigate in your Shop's Admin area to Settings > General
- Enter your physical shop or location address to be used as the customer order collection address (if you have set this as a Shipping option)
- If your Company's registered address is different to your physical location then enter that in the registered address box. This will then be shown on invoices and on your shop's footer section.
Step 3 – Customer Contact
Navigate in your Shop's Admin area to Settings > General
- Add a telephone number and your Support email address for customers wanting to contact you in the following boxes. The piece of information provided will be made public so will be displayed on your site.
- In the “Order Reply To Email” you can add another (different) email for your customers to reply to, rather than your main account email.
Step 4 – Order ID Prefix & Suffix
Navigate to Settings > Formats
Add a prefix and/or a suffix to create IDs like “INV-100” or “100-INV” into the allocated boxes below.
Step 5 – Next Order ID Number
Navigate to Settings > Formats
Add the next order number to suit your requirements. Order numbers start at 100 by default.
Step 6 – Out Of Stock Label
Navigate to Settings > Formats
Set the ‘Out of Stock’ label as “Sold” by ticking the box if you sell unique items.
Step 7 – Basket/Cart Language
Navigate to Settings > Formats
To set how your customers view the “Add to Basket/Cart/Bag” wording within your Shop just type in the term you would like your customers to see. For example in the US the generic term is 'Cart' where as in the UK the term more commonly used is 'Basket'.
