You may want to add a banner to your homepage to notify your customers that you will be closed, on holiday or any other important information you wish to share with them.
To do this, log in to your dashboard and head to 'Shop Editor'.
Select Content > Header > Promotion Bars and select the Content: Text Banner option and add to page.
Hover over the content block you have just added and select the cog. You will then see the content block settings on your left-hand side. Here you will be able to add the text, change the background colour, text colour and more.
Make sure to hit 'Update & Save' and Publish Live for the changes to take effect.
If you wish to delete the content block when you no longer deal it, make sure you are in your Shop Editor view and hover over the banner on the right-hand side until the cog and bin shows, then press the bin icon and hit Update & Save.
